Morning everyone :-)
i was diagnosed with breast cancer at end of October, however after CT scan it was found to have spread to liver and small amounts to bone and lungs.
Have had 2 rounds of docetaxel , Herceptin and perjeta. Ended up in hospital after the first with sepsis so was given filgrastim wirh the second round which seems to have worked . I did have a reaction to the perjeta the second time which was dealt with quickly and was able to finish the full dose.
Had oncologist appt this week and was told my liver function has improved which is good news .. also my nipple is not as retracted as it originally was ( this was my first symptom ) .
Was nice to hear this just before Xmas and may even have a drink over the festive period .. not had one since I was diagnosed .. very unusual for me.
Hope everyone can enjoy Xmas as much as possible.
Much love to you all
