Hi Northerner and
Just a quick message to say I hope all goes/has gone well for you both with your treatments today, and that the side effects are minimal (or better still, non-existent).

Thank you Margaret and Blackcat,
thankyou for your kind words. After a delay in waiting for treatment. I finally started at 12.15 the staff are fab as I understand it’s not there fault but I did have a melt down which I think was a result of being anxious and waiting.
Hope all is well with you both and a rest is well deserved for all.
Happy Xmas and new year

One of those days then. I am finally home and back tomorrow for docataxel . Did have a cry as nothing was prescribed and had to wait as oncologist was at another hospital then had to wait for the drugs in addition to being very anxious.
Congratulations on finishing Margaret hope side effects will be ok.
All the best to all.

Aww! it's bad enough trying to stay upbeat without these sort of days isn't it . I even had to give them chemo record book back as nothing had been recorded . They all seemed more excited that I would ring Then disappointed when I said no not when I would be back in three weeks for first of Herceptin which meant still going to chemo unit for 3 weekly x18 !!
So yes pleased EC finished but don't feel at end of journey
Stay positive it helps ( but cry when need to doesn't harm)
