The last year and an half have been testing to say the least. On Wednesday, we as a family go on the holiday that we were meant to go on one year ago but had to cancel. It is a holiday of a lifetime to Australia to spend time with my gorgeous brother and his young family. I have decided that I am going to have a 3 week break from this website....I care dearly for all those I read about and have followed for the past year or so....but I think I need a break....to try and not think about what may or may not lie ahead. I am planning a cancer free holiday. I, of course, will be back but think a bit of ‘time out’ might help my mental health challenges. So...I wish you all a very merry festive time, enjoy time with your families and friends, sit and watch rubbish tv....but remember that all these moments count. They may be insignificant to many but to us...they are everything.
And all the very best in 2020....together we make an amazing team and support network!
Galligirl sounds like the perfect plan to me! It’s a long way to go to sit talking to us online! We would rather you had a bloody good holiday and then told us all about it on your return!
So I would just like to wish you and your family a.......
Hope you all have an amazing time! Lots of Love Sal xxxxx
Agree with LondonLass that you need to break from this site. I disappear for months on end as we all have our ups and downs.
Happy holidays to you and family xxx
Dearest Galligirl,
I remember the start of your journey, you have come so far, you get that holiday head on now, live life to the full and enjoy your amazing holiday of a lifetime. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and all the very best for the coming New Year.
We all need to try to not let this consume us, its hard and we are scared, I do know that with everyone on here we are strong, strong to get through what we are dealt. Well you had the ticket for the Roller Coaster ride and you are now at the other side, your reward, you go and enjoy your holiday.
We will be thinking of you and cheering you on.
Sending love and hugs xxxx
