Hi Hayley,
I am unable to answer your question from experience but whilst you are waiting on responses on those who can, I though I would direct you here, https://www.macmillan.org.uk/cancer-information-and-support/treatments-and-drugs/folfirinox just in case you have not yet come across it.
Best of luck to your husband during his treatment

Thank you I have read the macmillan side effects in just keen to know what other people experienced I should have said my husband has bowel cancer as when I google folfirinox it brings a lot of information on pancreas cancer my husbands cancer is inseparable from hes pancreas whatever that means
Hi Hayleyc89I can’t think of anyone on the board that I’ve read about lately that’s had this particular combination - I’ve had oxaliplatin but that’s only part of it I believe? Have you had a look on the Bowel Cancer UK Board? There’s a few posts on there if you type it into the search box at the top of the screen?

Hope hubby finds it ok
Take care

Hi Hayleyc89
I noticed that too. It’s the same drugs and can be used to treat bowel cancer or pancreas cancer but use different names depending on your primary .
You could search the side effects for each individual chemo used and it would give you the general idea . Flofiri can cause slightly different side effects . I could be wrong but I think has experience with it . I will tag her in and see if she is free to reply .
Take care ,

Hi Hayley, my husband starts Folfoxiri on Thursday, so we don't have any experience but we do have paperwork. It says Folfoxiri is generally used to treat bowel cancer but it referred to as Folfoxirinox when treating pancreatic cancer. There's lots of side effects listed, our oncologist said no everyone gets all of them, some get a few, some strong, some mild, so it's a bit of a wait and see, which we resisted initially but decided all of this is uncertain, and we're trying to take 1 day at a time. Love Frances xxx
