Today marks the second anniversary of my tumour being spotted on camera, and an official diagnosis. It's been a hard two years, but it has also gone past really incredibly quickly. I am still here. Not perfect, struggling a little more than I might want, but most definitely a LOT better than I was before the operation in December 2018.
I will go on fighting. And the support I have had on this forum has been invaluable, so... thank you, everyone.
To those just starting out down this frightening road, I want to say this: it may look bleak at times, but it CAN get better. I was looking into a very scary abyss when I first got a diagnosis. But here I am, living proof that sometimes, probably MOST times - we win. Perhaps not in the ways you might expect, but I count being here now a victory. I'm going to take that and keep it close.
