Hi,
So sorry to hear about your husband . Unfortunately some people do have horrible post surgical complications and my heart goes out to them as it’s such a lot to endure .
Just want to make sure I have read this correctly the MRI is showing no further spread so hoping the PET scan confirms this ! Would that then mean he does not require further chemo at this juncture ?
If you click on my user name you can read my mum’s storey . She was late sixties but at times as it sounds you are too I was worried sick that she had so much treatment from surgery to chemo she would not be able to go through it again . She had lost three stones in weight . But with a great team she managed it . However she caught a break and her body started to heal and recover . At times you don’t imagine longer spells away from hospitals and scanners but it does start to happen and you will see them getting strength back .
I totally understand where you are coming from . He just needs time and space to recover from all that he has endured .
Its good news the MRI was clear and hoping their is more good news coming for him . He needs that rest .
