Hi Katymatey
If you have the number of your Cancer Specialist Nurse of Key Worker get in touch with them and discuss your pain. Or get in touch with your cancer centre.
You would be better to get professional advice regarding what medication to take, and they will probably be able to prescribe something for you.
Take care,
VickiLynne
Hi ,
My mum had terrible cramps . She used over the counter Buscopan . You could phone the team to check it’s ok to take but it did help . It’s a horrible side effect and seemed to affect her more on her rest week , but her consultant said that could happen . It was quite intense so I would give your team a phone call and see what they say . She used it for two years . But your team will guide you .
Take care and I hope you get help soon .

Hi
I hope you're doing well. My friend has been getting stomach / abdo cramps too, usually for a few minutes at a time, in the 24 hrs after his drip. He says Buscapan helps, and he likes to have peppermint tea too, and thinks it helps a bit. Not a fun experience. He says they're very painful. Don't know if this is of any help, but just to say, you're not alone with this one.
