Firstly I apologise for being late with this, but for any Muslims on here I hope Eid was as good as it was possible to be.
Liverpool is a very diverse city, the first mosque in the UK was in the city, although London had the first 'purpose built.' We have the oldest Chinese population and for most of the 18 & 19C was the home of the American embassy. The city has recently seen a 20% drop in hate crime towards Muslims, largely due to Mo, Sadio & 'Nabby lad,' who always show the side of the Islam followed by 99.99% of believers. Their work on the pitch has empowered the local mosques to stop hiding away and become more prominent, eg big screens during world cup - no alcohol, fee was an item for foodbanks, uniting with local churches to run foodbanks, cooking for frontline workers during Ramadan.

It's a little worrying about the science and the Atletico v Liverpool match, my wife, my three children and me went, we were ok but it would appear that many in the city weren't. The club had asked for government advice and were told to play.
