    Hi Coolz10,

That's great that you've decided to go back to work. However, you will have seen the news tonight we are now on what can be considered as lockdown for the next 3 weeks. Your employer should contact you to let you know how things are regarding the help for employers to pay employees, but as you work in a care home, I'm not sure that this will be the case as care workers are probably classed as key workers. It may be that you will have to extend your sickness, but again your employer should talk to you about this. I'm head of payroll at my accountancy practice and can say to you that this situation is very fluid and we are all waiting on the publication of guidelines from HMRC - if you check there you might find some useful information.

    Take care,

    Linda

Hi Linda thank you for your reply. My doctor decided to stop my oxal iv and to continue with oral meds, thats why i decided to return work as financially needed it as well. As ssp is not really enough as i dont get any benefit because im on my work visa. Are rota is out already and im included but after these situation my employer informed me to better stay at home and extend my sick note.  Keep safe everyone xx
