It's 7 weeks since I had an Extended Right Hemicolectomy. My anastomosis is close to my splenic fixture.
I've discovered this week that sitting upright (i.e. at a desk, as opposed to slouching in an easy chair) causes pain under my bottom left ribs - which I presume is above the anastomosis. It starts up within a minute or so of sitting.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this? and if so what did you do/recommend?
Also get it from time to time when upright, but can guarantee it will happen when I sit. Not connected to bowel motions.
Many thanks in advance
