Morning all.
life just gets better when you get the unexpected letter. Having recently visited my doctor, who has been marvellous, always putting me at ease, anyway I saw her last week and happened to have mentioned my sick feeling. Also that when I ate it seemed to get stuck in throat. Yesterday I had a letter saying I have an endoscopy Tuesday.
I am also have a sigmoidoscopy on 24March. Don’t know what that one is except it’s the same procedure as before. Senokot tablets etc.
Thanks guys for all you support.

A sigmoidoscopy is like a colonoscopy and is carried out the same way, the only difference is that a Sigmoidoscopy examines the sigmoid colon and does’nt go as far up as a colonoscopy.
A Sigmoidoscopy is a shorter procedure than a colonoscopy and does’nt usually require sedation not sure if it’s even offered). I was offered gas and air but did’nt need it when I had my Sigmoidoscopy.
Hope everything turns out alright

Wow thanks for that. I was imagining all sorts of things. I also have an endoscopy on Tuesday.
Be glad when this month has gone and hopefully all will be sorted.
