Oh boy what a dilemma. The big question now is Have I or Haven’t I.
After my colonoscopy I was told bowel cancer. World fell apart. Then my CT scan.
My nurse phoned me yesterday to my scan was clear, nothing. So I now have to,have another colonoscopy! They want another biopsy.
Yes a great lift off my shoulders but another worry. Just waiting now to see when this will take place.
Mo
Great news that there is no spread . That’s absolutely fantastic.
You are most certainly on a rollercoaster . Did your biopsy at the last colonoscopy come back positive for cancer if they did one ?
It is such a waiting game . Although it’s better to get it well defined in terms of treatment plan at this stage . Although I totally understand the emotional price is very high and demanding .
We are here for you as you work through this stage . Hopefully this will all be sorted soon .

After my colonoscopy the doctor told me i had bowel cancer.
S I waited and waited for the next step. My support nurse phoned me yeterday to say another
colonoscopy had to be done.
Just received letter from the hopsital to saythe biospy samples taken were inconclusive. So I have to have a repeat camera test by a confident gastroenterologist with an attemptto remove the polyp if possible.
So now waiting for details of when.

Oh Right . That’s certainly a bit different . Sounds positive for the future though once you get over this part . I guess they will send the whole polyp off to be examined and decide from their if you need more intervention.
Do hope it’s soon so you can relax and recover from all this .
