Hi ,
Welcome to the forum . It can take a little while longer to collect all the information when cancer has spread and there can be a bit of a delay as they spend time at the start making sure it’s the best treatment plan for the patient .
My mum had an advanced spread when starting chemo and the delays concerned me too however she got there and it worked well .
It’s really , really unfortunate that the biopsy did not give the required information twice . I can totally understand your concern . What area were they taken from ? Has she had a PET scan ? Hopefully they will do this quickly . Does she have a specialist nurse ? You could give her a wee call and raise your concern and maybe get a bit of feedback .
Take care ,
