My brother had his rectum removed
2years ago ,had a stoma for 12 months reversal went well.Right out of the blue a scan showed a return of cancer at the join plus two noduels on his lung.
Prescribed chemo and radiotherapy.What a journey .
Hard to handle this but the hospital staff are so positive.
I dread the next 12months.
Confused!
Oh , I am so sorry to hear about your brother . You clearly care for him .
Although it sounds very scary stage 4 cancer still has a lot of treatment options. Chemotherapy allowed my mum to get to surgery twice . She also had a lung met removed four years ago and it has really never caused her many issues. Her lung function is very good .
We are here for you too as we totally understand how difficult it can be and you often feel powerless to help . I am sure you will be a great support to him .
Take care ,
