Good morning  and welcome to the online community and especially to the bowel group although like yourself we are sorry that your circumstance have found you stopping at our front door.

I hope that the following will be of help in answering your question.

The new brilliantly redesigned booklet Macmillan recipes for people affected by cancer is packed full of meal ideas that are suitable for people living with cancer. (Can be downloaded or you can have a printed copy sent). 

and from our friends over at  Bowel Cancer UK Living with and beyond bowel cancer/diet after treatment.

No doubt you will have many more questions in the weeks to come and our very friendly supportive members will be on hand to guide you along this journey and will answer any questions you may have and share with you their experiences.

Should it be necessary for you to have a temporary or permanent stoma, the place to head is our Ileostomy, colostomy, urostomy and any other stoma support group for practical advice and support.
