All the very best . I totally understand your concern as I felt more scared about the lung than my mum’s liver/ bowel op . I think you might find the recovery from VATs ok . They had lung exercises on the wall and my mum was doing them the next day and home the following . The operation only took an hour and they kept her in recovery for an hour . I will be thinking of you . It was four years ago this month for my mum ! Never looked back .
