Hi guys just had a call from the nurse I’ve had a very good response to treatment
But there’s a fuzzy bit right next to the resection area they are saying it’s probably what the radiotherapy Has done so I’m being scaned again in 6 weeks time to let the radiotherapy carry on working also no spread cheers Andy

Hi Andy excellent news, I have just replied to you on bowel cancer uk site as well... radiotherapy keeps working for about 20 weeks our oncologist said, the no spread is great. X

Just hoping the fuzzy bit is what the radiotherapy has done not a bit of active tumour

on my scans there’s a fuzzy bit near the resection the MDT thinks it’s due to radiotherapy but not sure so scaned again in 6 weeks but had good response to treatment cheers Andy
