Good morning. I had my surgery for rectosigmoid cancer on the 11th September. And so far my recovery is going well, less and less pain and beginning to get more mobile. I am waiting to hear if I need further treatment but not sure if I'll find this out soon or at my follow up appointment. Has anyone got any experience of this? I have nothing but praise for the speed of my diagnosis and treatment and the care I have had so far. Mr Randall (consultant) and his whole team at the BRI have been amazing.
I just want to wish anyone at the start of this cancer nightmare good luck and best wishes and sending positive thoughts and wishes to all.
Afternoon Daisy May
The usual time for getting histology results is about 2/3 weeks after surgery .
Hope all goes well
