last December I was told that my chemo hadn’t worked and that my tumour was inoperable and to accept my fate. I felt fit and well and sought a second opinion. After another 6 rounds of a different chemo and 5 rounds of avastin, my tumour had not grown so was considered for surgery. Three weeks ago I had removal of a massive tumour, most of colon and part of stomach also replumbing of small bowel and although am feeling very sore, I am very grateful for a surgeon to take me on and give me hope. I don’t know whether it will come back but plan to live each day as it comes with hope.
