I take MOVICOL PLAIN 1 sachet per day for a stricture following a low anterior resection of the rectum and sigmoid colon. Until very recently this has been fine but with recent batches I find I get itchy after about half an hour of taking it. It used to be made in the NETHERLANDS but now appears to be made in Wales! I wonder if they have changed raw material supplier or changed the composition in some way to cause this? Its interesting because I used to get the same effect with LAXIDO and COSMOCOL but it disappeared after switching to MOVICOL PLAIN ---- till now! Anyone on a maintenance/regular dose of MOVICOL experienced anything similar?
