If anyone wants to get fitter & raise much needed funds for a cancer charity of their choice consider joining Liverpool Recovery Runners. It's an informal group who meet on a Saturday morning at 10.00 am in Sefton park - cost is FREE. It's expertly run by a dedicated team who take a 10 week step by step approach to building towards a 5klm charity raise - next one is Scouse 5K at the end of October. I have a deep hatred of running, the group are almost all at my own level - no ability and little individual motivation, but the comradeship generated saw me through. The next course starts in mid-August. If you live in Liverpool give it ago, meeting point is the cafe Sefton Park - they do great coffee afterwards. Hope to see so.eone from these message boards.
