Hi all
ive been having constant changes in my bowel habit, sometime solid and once or twice a day and a lot of it -sorry to be crude, but then I can be going more often and it’s looser, though not liquid. I have pain in my upper and lower back and either side of my wasteline. In terms of bowel symptoms is this what they mean when they say consistent Change in bowel habits or is it change to liquid or solid and it stays like that ?
ive not had any blood in my stool but the GP is not helping at all?
any help gratefully recieved
best wishes in your fight
Hi ,
I think they mean when your Bowel habits alter from what was normal for you . That would include frequency etc . There are many reasons for this to occur . Some suggest keeping a diary to help you show your GP what you have been dealing with for a few weeks .
There are many conditions that cause Bowel habits to alter but if possible it’s reassuring to know why .
take care,
Court
