Hi,
4 weeks ago my nan was diagnosed with bowel cancer, and they were going to operate, however 2 weeks ago she suffered mini strokes and as the result now has vascular dementia, family were called in the hospital on Thursday and spoke to consultant re care,
They have advised she has maximum 2 months left with us
Her colon has collapsed and she is no longer going to the toilet. I have been told she is basically a ticking time bomb before the bowel pop.
My question is would there be any signs that this has happened? And how long would she live long after it has.
Many thanks for reading
