Rectum cancer spread to liver and both lungs palliative care started getting shoulder pain new it had returned. Past year 27 sessions of radiotheraphy for six months, stoma fitted, six months of 5fu scans and bloods very good response to treatment, had three hoildays got married typing away with a pic line fitted, thinking about another six months of this CRAP

Hi Jerky, Sorry to hear six more months of Crap. I can’t believe you got married in the middle of treatments, my hats off to you sir. That’s the way to show this Shit who’s Boss. I truly don’t know where I’d be without my wife screaming and yelling at me. A little loving mix’s in there every so often lol

Please give me the strength to change what I can, accept what I can't change and the wisdom to know the difference.

Yea finished chemo in January 20th scan showed no cancer anywhere ,cea tumor markers plummeted straight away doctor told me straight it would return within six months.You started to get over optimistic through the treatment, I never stop playing racket sports, cycling, walking with the ramblers through the treatment plan still drink booze go to gigs and theatre . Bizarre thing for me my lovely younger wife works on the unit where I have my chemo shit in for 5 hours at a time got to know all the staff, you have to have a good sense of humor to get through this.

Wishing you all the best with your treatment and all your activities. Ten years into a stage 4 diagnosis and my mum leads an active life . It looks essential if at all possible .
