Hi, hubby was already taking BP tablets, but yesterday felt unwell.
, I took his Bp and it was very low, he had chest pains earlie in the day so we went to see Gp he confirmed BP low, and suggested we go to A\E if chest pains came back,
this morning they did, so we went to A/E they did lots of tests, ecg, bloods etc and consultant came to see him, all results were good which obviously we were pleased about, only thing was they said his BP was low. At least although we spent five hours there we feel reassured re his heart.
he has been on same tablets for over ten years with good results, they suggested maybe a reduction in tablets, obviously we will discuss with oncologist on Tuesday when we have next appointment but I was just curious if this has happen d to anyone else on same treatment?
thanks in advance
Hi
I didn't reply earlier because my comment might not be relevant but my husband had to reduce his blood pressure medication after he had lost some weight. My husband hasn't had cancer hence the not really relevant comment but many people get weight loss with cancer and the subsequent treatment. I just thought this might apply to your husband.

Hi
thanks Nicky for replying, it was a good thought, but my husband hasn't lost any weight at all. But a good call and something I wouldn't have thought of.
Margaret
