I am 40 and have had ibs type symptoms for many years in the fact that if I drink or eat certain things I have loose stools.
Over the last 5 weeks I had had a stretch/tight feeling in my lower pelvis on and off. I can ache feel tight before a bm and for a little while after. I can also have a niggling feeling on and off during the day it feels sometimes like fairies are dancing in my pelvis.
I haven't had blood in my stool or a change in bm habits. i go aroind 2 a day and soft or harder stools depending in my diet. I haven't lost weight and I am not fatigued. i am not bloated or dont feel bloated but can have a bit of wind at times
I so far have had an abdominal ultrasound and transvaginal scan. This was done by my consultant who performed a hysterectomy on me last year. my ovary as far as he can tell look ok my ca125 bloods came back fine.
I have had a full blood test and I am not anemic. I went to see my go today and she says it's ibs and won't do further investigations. I have never had this ache niggly feeling before I am stressed that she won't investigate further.
