Hello! Although a regular reader of posts on this site, this is the first time I’ve posted. I just want to encourage you all by saying that today is the seventh anniversary of my Bowel cancer surgery. I’m not sure what my grading was because I wasn’t told and I didn’t ask, but I ( aged 54 at time of surgery ) had a tumour in my bowel which had gone through the first layer of muscle and cancerous cells were found in two out of fifteen lymph nodes. I had six months of chemotherapy. At the time, I didn’t have a clue about bowel cancer but have since learned a lot thanks to this site as much as anywhere else.
Best wishes to all

GlitzyGranny, thank you for your positive and cheering post. So pleased for you, and well done.
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
That's such great news and gives so much hope to us all to hear positive outcomes. Long may it continue and with cancer treatments getting better all the time hopefully one day we will give cancer a good kick up the jacksy and say good riddance to it once and for all. Vanessa x
