Hello all I have just turned 40. over many years I have had abdominal pain which was linked so I thought to gynalogical issues and so I had a partial hysterectomy a year ago. Over the last year I still have abdominal pain at what i think is ovulation time (kept ovaries) During the last 2 weeks the abdominal pain has remained on and off. Last night we ate fast food and i was in pain. i can also ache when I pass a bowel movement or before I pass one. I am starting to get concerned. any advice xx
Hi ,
Sorry to hear you are in pain . You should go back to your GP and get further investigations .
I experience similar issues but you need to know what is causing it to treat it appropriately. Just to reassure you most people who pass through here with similar issues do not have cancer but happy to exclude it by proper investigations .
Hope you get it resolved soon .

I am scared at the moment I have 2 young children one with a life limiting condition and I am worried that it's something serious. I have a blood test next week I know I will be low in iron. I don't eat enough iron rich food ! and that will panic me more as I know Anemia is a symptom of bowel cancer.
xx
I am sorry to hear about your child . Sending my love to your family .
Thankfully most people despite some symptoms don’t have cancer . Bowel cancer caught in the early stages is very , very treatable . But you need to take good care of your health and nutrition. You matter too . In what seems like a previous life I was a community occupational therapist . I had a weighting in my case load to paediatric s . I saw all too often mum’s giving their all and running a bit low themselves . I would gently encourage them to take good care of their health and build in some relaxation time . You have a lot on your plate .
You are doing all the right things and need to find the cause .
Take care ,
