At least you are lying down and all the different tests are being done in one hit, as opposed to travelling in and out of hospital numerous times. Arthritis isn't a joyride but I think once you are reassured it's not a sneaky spread of you know what, I reckon you'll be able to deal with the pain. I bet life feels easier with the paracetamol drip? There are numerous drugs which can help neurological pain, I was on Gabapentin for 3 years. Well done that physio. How will you get home? As long as having ambulanced you in they don't then tell you to make your own way home as some hospitals do !!! And I hope they are feeding and watering you as you are not due for surgery etc.

Thank you all for your supportive messages.I’m still here in a little side ward attached to casualty in the same bay mum has been in.It looks like I will be staying in but they are waiting for the dr to tell them the plan.I feel better for half a sandwich and a cup of tea.My back is much more painful from lying flat all day.Love to all Jane xx
