Evening all,

It’s been 2 weeks since BCG #18, and I’m still not getting any sleep. Last night I was up every hour for a pee…I know it’s part of the treatment but boy it’s starting to get to me…I’ve avoided all the foods and drinks that I shouldn’t be having and still a bit uncomfortable.. that I can handle…

Any tips on getting some sleep…

today I’ve peed 22 times….

Nigel ….”yawnnnnnnnnnnn”

  • Hi Nigel,

So tiring for sure. Hard to function with so little sleep.

Sound's like you're already doing everything I can think to suggest, giving up certain drinks etc.

I've been there and it's horrible for sure.

Think it's the inflammation that is causing the urgency and hopefully it will ease up soon for you...

  • Cheers Trevor

    I think I’m just having a bad day…you know what it’s like…

  • oh Nigel, i am sorry to hear its bad like this . I really hope it passes off quickly , coz lack of sleep is really horrible. They used to use it as a form of torture i believe in the war. I wish there was a remedy I could advise , but I think Trevor has been through it all. I am thinking of you mate

  • Cheers Angela, I’ll get through it…

  • Yeah, I was prescribed medication to see if it helped, it didn't lol.

    It was just time really..

Think I worn the carpet out with all the loo trips.

Hope you get some sleep tonight..

  • How's you Angela, hope you are well and recovering from your fall well.

    Take care.

  • thanks trevor, i think i am in for the long haul with the shoulder , but it is what it is. Got my flexi on April 16th then hopefully number 19 !

Are you still having a break or have you stopped for good ?

    Much love Angela x

  • Sorry to hear about your shoulder.

Best of luck for the 16th and your next batch of BCG.

My last BCG was over a year ago now, gosh time flies, but had a couple of biopsies since then and still had major inflammation in September 25 when the next batch was due so couldn't with the next cycle.

I think I've stopped with the BCGs now, it took over 9 month's for my bladder to recover.

I'm glad I made it to 18, but you never know I might start again depending on what my consultant has to say or if they find anything again.

    Take care.
