Hello everyone,
snow and sleet in Walton Le dale today. No grandchildren, No golf, No restaurant meals, No pints of beer and still no Vitamin D tablets as promised by our friend Matt Hancock! Has anyone in BC land received any yet?
stay safe
Garviv
Hi . I'm a bit further up the M6 to you and we've just had a flurry. Not heard anyone mention the vit D tabs. Matt and the gang seem to change things daily. I take a daily cod liver oil tablet which contains vitamin D. Don't know if they do any good though. I've just turned 70, so that may bump me up the vaccine list. Pints of beer, mmmmm. Best wishes.
Hi Garviv, we also had snow this morning but all gone now except on the top of Exmoor. Recently I had one of those emails to excruciatingly clinically vulnerable people which asked you to log in and express your interest in Vitamin D which I did. No sign yet. Also no vaccine news for the over 70s so don't hold your breath Rily x
Hi All, well I registered for the Vit D well before Christmas, it said something about January but no a peep yet. Having neither of us had a shielding letter first time round, which really did cause us a lot of grief as we don't normally online supermarket shop and could not get a slot for all the staying up till past midnight etc. Then they sent ME an un-shielding letter. So I will be very interested to see what next week's post brings, as Disability Rights UK said yesterday letters are supposed to go out next week. Like others not holding my breath...
@herothedog they are still ploughing through the over 80s at the moment. They still have the 75-80s to sort out before the 70-75s
Like everyone else registered for vitamin d tablets nothing yet but was advised will come in January. Still getting multiple letters from Hancock re shielding and promise of COVID Vaccine by 19th Feb so will keep Safe and wait for said vaccine. In the meantime a few glasses of wine for the weekend...keep well everyone..
No vit D and no snow here in the depths of Lincolnshire. Getting fed up now so think I’m going to take up drinking and see if that helps lol x
I'm still taking the ones I bought. Interesting prog on BBC last week about boosting immunity & VIt D certainly recommended (as well as unsurprisingly, exercise, sleep & good diet).
Online supermarket slots scarce, but no problems booking if not too fussy about date/time. I have been to our local one, but did feel a bit more scary since upsurge in cases with this variant version of COVID.
Morning All just to update supply of vitamin d pills arrived today so sounds like orders before Xmas now being delivered. Keep well all
