Had a call from Urology today & the cancer's stayed the same G2 pTa TCC. We'd discussed trying some more treatment when I had my Flexi, as I'd previously had an allergy to MMC. The nurse has just called me back after checking with the Mr, it was his idea so not sure what that was about. Apparently he was on leave & she emailed him, he got back to her very quickly eh? I like it. . She's sending me some dates for January. All good news . In all the excitement I forgot to say that I'll be having Epirubicin.
Hope everyone's doing as well as can be expected xxx
Hello Blanket, what a marvellous decision it was to change urology teams! Such a brilliant consultant you have. Clearly understands what it feels like to sit waiting for news. Glad treatment can happen quickly. I'm booked in for 3 more doses of BCG starting Jan 13th, so we can wave from reclining on our sofas Are they talking about BCG or trying MMC again?
Epirubicin H. I'm wary but I have to try it, although I'd previously said that I wasn't keen at all on treatment.
Just had the letter, well it's a card with all my dates & times on & I begin the treatment on 4 Jan.
Good luck with your BCG H!
