Hi All just looked on my doctors website to check when I can get a flu jab. As I am under 65 thought I might qualify as part of the at risk group. Hancock stated a few weeks ago those who were on the shielded list would count as part of the at risk group for qualifying for the jab. On checking my doctors website they stated the at risk group are people who are pregnant have diabetes a respiratory disease, heart disease or are a career.  So I was on the shielded list but not in the at risk group but it appears I can qualify as being over 50 for the jab. This group are last in the list and jabs not available at my doctors until a date in November tbc. Just wondered if this stance was being taken by all doctors or just mine. Incidentally boots website say private flu jab available to anyone over 16 now at £13.99.
