Hello, I hope everyone is well. Well we finally did it after months as virtual hermits we went out for a meal. We took advantage of the Chancellor’s meal deal and booked a table at The Dolphin Inn on Longton Marsh. Great service, correct social distancing and plenty of hand sanitizers. My wife chose T Bone Steak with trimmings, a hugh piece of beautifully cooked and presented on a wooden platter. I went for the Pork&Ham pie with pickle tray and home cooked chips.Mmmmmm. Washed down with a pint of Lancaster Bomber cask ale and a half of Peroni for my wife. It was so wonderful to be able to relax, dine and enjoy other couple and families enjoying themselves in a safe environment.
Garviv
Brilliant Garviv. I would have been delighted to devour either of those meals....yummy! Good to hear you felt safe, I haven't yet found the courage to emerge but if I don't get to a hairdressers soon I'll be eating my fringe.
Sounds delicious Garviv. It’s good to know you managed to get out after so long.Love Jane xx
Great choices from both of you, and very well described, I felt like I was there. You could write adverts for that place. xx
