Hi
2nd chemo tomorrow if the bloods are okay. Im feeling dizzy a fair bit which is stopping me doing too much. The next one is just the one type. Any advice or info would be great.
Thanks
Sue.
Hi Sue. I am assuming you are on a regimen of Gem/Cis (correct me if I am wrong). If so, the second session is usually just gemcitabine and only takes a couple of hours as opposed to the first long day, and it is usually not as bad. Make sure you let the nurses know how you are feeling. Best wishes.
Yes you are correct. Its about an hour i think. I will tell them about headaches and dizziness.
Thanks Peter, i attempted a message to you today but the box kept disappearing so i couldnt see what i'd typed. So frustrating, i wish they'd get things sorted on PM
I'll pretend I got the message. Thanks!
I started to reply to you and twice didn't get a box!
I had my 3rd BCG today. Somewhat uncomfortable but I am left wiped out - waves of fatigue. My legs are like lead. i also have a peculiar taste in my mouth - CNS said she had not heard of that before - and a weak and hoarse voice, apparently from the surgery. She said I should see my GP. I'll wait on that one as I have had enough hospital and GP appointments.
Best for tomorrow. Hope headaches and dizziness improve.
Peter.
