Well it's been an interesting few days. My hubby Ray was admitted as an emergency on Wednesday night with severe abdominal pain. After 2days of conservative treatment, drips and antibiotics and nephrostomy tubes, they decided it was too dangerous to leave it any longer as he had urine and infection sloshing around in his abdomen. So yesterday afternoon to evening he was in theatre having a washout and a good look around and they found that his ideal conduit had twisted and blocked off the flow of urine almost completely so he had to have a new conduit made too. Oh and they repaired his hernia!! So another 5 hour op. He rang at 7:30 this morning sounding a bit better so fingers crossed for a smooth recovery again!! Very rare occurrence apparently, trust my husband, but then he is unique
Hi Jenny. Ray has had a tough time of it lately, but it sounds as though they have discovered the problem. I hope this latest op sorts things out for him. Wishing him a speedy recovery. Best wishes.
Hello Jenny
Poor Ray, that is very bad luck. I know only too well what it's like to have your abdominal cavity full of infected urine, I had 7.5 litres drained out once it was found and I was very sick by then.
Now that's done, I wish him and you a speedy recovery.

I may appear to be listening but in my head I'm all at sea.
