Hello.
Iv already posted this in another thread but wanted to post in a more relevant page.
This is a link to my dads blog about his journey with bladder cancer
https://bladdercancerandme.wordpress.com/
I wanted to share his story with as many people as possible. I only hope it helps get people talking. Especially us guys as we all know we dont talk about our private parts and leave things to the last minute and then some still wont say anything. Dad..
Please have a read and share as much as you can.
I'm sure aswell my dad would like to hear from any one effected by this plus I want people to talk to him aswell, give him ideas, share experiences and help each other.
I feel helpless in my current position being so far away this is all I can think to do is share his blog and hope it helps.
Be strong dad. Keep fighting.
Hi (and Happy Easter). Just read some of the blog.
I get irritable legs at night if I don't take modest amounts of magnesium supplements. High street health food store do a very helpful pump spray to apply to the skin if I ever get this despite the tablets. If like me you take calcium supplements you are more likely to need the Magnesium as the two should go together, calcium on its own can throw you out of balance.
Hope this helps,
Denby
Hi and a welcome to the group from me. Your Dad's story will be familiar to many on here. We have a lot of varying experiences. I have had a browse though your Dad's blog and will go through it in more detail later. Always someone here to help, share experiences and answer questions. Best wishes.
I have a problem with restless legs altho its periodic.I take a magnesium supplement and I have a tablet of soap under the bottom sheet I know it sounds crazy but a friend suggested it and it seems to work I don't know why and I was sceptical but willing to try and seems to work
My bone density test showed no problems so I don't take calcium
best wishes
Wilbert
