Just had my first TURBT procedure, It went much better than feared. My pain is now minimal Less than 24 hrs on and I’m amazed I’m back to near normality. I’m so glad we have the NHS and staff that are fantastic.
Since seeing a consultant in a walk in centre ,less than 4 weeks later Iv been treated so professionally and quickly. So a big shout out to South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS.
That's great news . At a time when many of these procedures are being postponed, you have been very fortunate to have it done. It may sting a bit for a few days when you are having a pee, but it should pass. Feet up for a few days and keep drinking plenty of water to keep the debris flushed out. Bet wishes.
