hi everyone,
has anyone else experienced trembling through fear knowing what this could mean long term, i am having trouble from stop trembling in my hands
any advice welcome
Hi and a warm welcome to the group at what is a worrying time for us. I am sure you are not alone in feeling this way. The fear of the unknown can be hard to deal with. The best we can do is to keep ourselves at home and safe. Being in isolation and not having physical contact with friends and family doesn't help. That's were communities like this can help. Letting out your feelings or just having a moan can help. If you are actually trembling, then a chat with a GP may help. You can also speak to someone in person on the free Mac helpline on 0808 808 0000. Always someone here to talk. Best wishes.
Hi Mrstenseman. Sorry to hear you feel so shaky. Everything Rily says is true. You might also like to try some breathing exercises, I'm sure the NHS website or other trustworthy ones will suggest suitable ways to use breathing to help calm yourself.
best wishes,
Denby
Hi Mrstenseman,
Trembling is a sign of anxiety. I was diagnosed with general anxiety disorder a couple of years ago and had both mental and physical symptoms and know how worrying the physical symptoms can be. I did have counselling and therapy but what I found also helped, which I could do by myself at home, was relaxation and breathing accompanied by some soothing music.
I’m not sure from your post whether it is the present crisis or your treatment that is worrying you but either way try breathing techniques and relaxation. There are lots of guides online and relaxation tapes. The Mind website is also very helpful.
i must admit I am finding the Coronavirus problems are making me more anxious but doing the above is helping.
Take care

Hi winkers
What worries me most like everyone else in these situations is that I feel I have just been given a death sentence, we have had an incline about my cancer since January but had it confirmed this Mon, my previous scans an external one and a cystoscopy both said it was nmit, but after my turbt, I have been told it is now muscle invasive, stage 3, harder to treat and lower survival rates, at only 51, I am young for this type of cancer, this is causing me so much anxiety I tremble with fear, now waiting for an appointment for cystectomy surgery
Hi,I do feel for you,I was told my cancer was non muscle invasive but it turned out to be T2G3 and I had an urgent cystectomy.Mine is a rarer cancer with not such a good prognosis.I was extremely nervous about everything before the op but having advice and support from this board got me through. We can answer any questions you have about the surgery and recovery.Several here have had a cystectomy and are managing well.I don’t underestimate what an enormous thing you are facing and your anxiety will be heightened by the virus crisis. If you are in pain that should go once the bladder is removed. We are here for you, everyone is very supportive.Love Jane xx
Hi,I had my cystectomy on the 30th September so nearly 6 months ago.I am back to gardening and enjoying life ( apart from the pandemic).
