Oh joy got a call just now, the urine sample has gone missing, never to be found again so off I go again to produce another, better luck this time I hope lol Inanna xx
Oh Inanna. Sounds like someone has been taking the pee Best wishes.
Coincidentally, the boxers I had on during my surgical hernia repair op last Friday have also gone missing. I was fond of them despite the splatters of every known bodily fluid caused by my operation and other experiences.
I expect Mrs CB has double bagged them and put them in the toxic waste bin :)

I may appear to be listening but in my head I'm all at sea.

Hi Inanna,What a pain your sample has been lost.My case in our new detective series would be called the case of the missing prescription. After 3 fruitless trips to Boots and 3 to our incompetent health centre it eventually turned up along with a diet sheet & my sick note grrrr.Love Jane xx
My hubby had that once - went to collect his prescription from the pharmacy at GP - not to be found. Told it had been put in the box delivered to our local shop. Back home, to shop - no, not in box. Back to surgery - had to be re-ordered. Is there somewhere a bag with some pills in, unclaimed?
My story would be not having the right blood tests done on more than one occasion & either having to back to hosp (because sample has to be tested within a set time frame) or to nurse at GP (who is mystified at what's required).
I guess we all have these annoyances somewhere along the line! I think the worst aspect of wee samples is being given a tiny narrow test tube - how are you supposed to pee into that?!
Hi Jane
Even the nurse rolled her eyes up when I told her, had lunch there had my bloods done and a bus was waiting for me, it was empty all the way to Southend. Popped into Primark for the necessities. Lunching both Friday and Saturday with good friends and my lovely Sis and my lovely Nephew.
As soon as I get in the hospital I feel safe. However as I was walking down the corridor this man was wailing away that he had "come all this way without any money" yeah right I thought and continued on my way.
Hope you and yours are OK
Inanna xx
Hi Teasswill
How annoying. Had to have my bloods done today for the op, hope they get it right
It is so frustrating.
Next time you get asked for a sample ask for something to pee in, they have these at the hospital. If I have to do it at home, I have bought a cheap measuring jug for that purpose only I hasten to add

Now Inanna I did try to reply to this on my phone this afternoon but I got locked out for an hour because I got my password wrong, thrice
I can't remember if it was urine or bloods, but after the last op they said that I had to do them again. So I spent ages googling why they would ask for more tests, fearing the worst .... Then I called the surgery & one of the girls said that they'd lost them. The moral of the story is do not google
