Hi anxiety is through the roof TURB was postponed till next Wed. Any tips have convinced my self it will be more serious than it was 2 weeks ago have really negative thoughts. Ant tips greatly appreciated xxxx

  • Hi . These delays always add to the anxiety and get your mind racing. in the great scheme of things, a few weeks is unlikely to make a difference. Only a few days left now before your op. You will feel a lot better afterwards. Keep your chin up. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • Hi,I’m so sorry your TURBT date has been altered, all the waiting is stressful.Have you got something to keep you busy until your procedure. It’s not too long to wait even though it feels like forever.Love Jane xx

  • Sorry to see that your TURBT has been delayed and I understand that more waiting is unbearable.   It really is the waiting and your mind plays havoc with you.

We always think the worst but it could be an admin error.  If urgent they would have had you in straight away but they know that this is not the case.  I had a long wait between my TURBT and the MDT results and the wait was the worst thing of it all

    Hi Saskia1,

I’m sorry you are having to wait a bit longer for your TURBT. Anxiety certainly makes your mind go into overdrive imaging all sorts- we’ve all experienced it.

Try and keep as busy as you can until then, it does help.

Sending very best wishes for Wednesday.

    Luce x

Hi I have got a puppy he certainly keeps me busy. . I'll arrange things till the date comes . Thank you again it makes such a difference xx

  • Can't think of anything more happily distracting than a puppy. I have a 12 month labrador who fills my days with fun. Only downside he has recently developed a penchant for rolling in fox poo. This evening he can't understand why he is sitting all alone on the sofa while me and my other lab sit on the other side of the room with pegs on our noses Slight smile

We all worry Sakia1 but it'll all be done and dusted soon. Sending love x
