Now I loathe housework with a vengeance lol. I am now going through a big time clear out. My recliner chair has died after 15 years good service in the feet up position so it will be replaced within the next few days.
Funny today I forgot I have cancer for a while

Well done you! Don't forget that if there is the slightest potential use to others in your unwanted items, you can offer them on Freecycle and Freegle [same idea]. The stuff gets saved from landfill, you get saved from the effort/cost of getting rid of it as takers collect [unless you choose otherwise], and you get a good feeling :-)

Sounding very positive Inanna. Definitely treat yourself to a new super duper new chair. xxx
I'm one of those sad people that secretly love housework don't tell. Who knows, you may grow to love it too.
I Just can't do cancer every day, & I believe that I have to forget for my own sanity. Although you've obviously found something far worse in your hatred for housework Innanna
Take care xxx
I could keep you supplied with housework Blanket.I got as far as washing one half of the kitchen floor & then had to lie down on our very elderly sofa to recover. The floor now looks like one of those before and after cleaning adverts. It might be staying like that for a bit longer, this cystectomy recovery is going at a snail’s pace.Love Jane xx
Pop round to mine please Blanket? Every time I wash my kitchen floor the dogs decorate it with muddy footprints within the hour. I just leave it till guests are due
Time to put your feet up again Jane winkers60. I'm still in a state of shock that you've painted your bathroom since your surgery! x
I haven’t finished the bathroom yet Herothedog, but have only got a small section above the bath to do.The stoma supplies take up a whole shelf.I’ve been down the garden to look at the hellebores & snowdrops.Back to being a couch potato till the energy levels return.love Jane xx
Hi Blanket
Want a job lol
I find housework repetitious and tedious in extremis however I may find solace in it in the future x I am just about to order a cordless lightweight vacuum, my old Dyson will be too heavy for me in the coming months. I think a bit of gentle housework when I am able post-OP, may be a good idea.
I bought a new chair this morning and that will be delivered in two weeks.
Blanket instead of calling it housework, I will call it occupational therapy
