Hi Everyone

I have justwatched a cancer survivor on Sky News, she was a 39 year old lady who looked years younger. 4 years ago she was told she had 15 tumours in her body and her cancer was incurable but has been declared clear. She said that when she was born, the treatment was not available as it is today. She was an inspiration to me and I for one will be listening to her podcast You Me and the Big C

Yes, it's great that new treatments are coming along all the time. I've had a few friends who have at least had several more years than likely at time of diagnosis, because of new therapies becoming available.

Things have come a long way since I was young. Once, cancer meant only one thing and the word was only spoken in hushed tones. New things coming out all the time. Best wishes.
