Firstly I am not sure which group to put this topic in as my TCC tumours were found in my ureter, but I am currently with the bladder cancer team. (Kidney or bladder?)
History
Tumour found in 2016 whilst removal of kidney stone. Very low grade and was lasered - no other treatment
2017 suspicious tumour found in same place - again lasered - came back inconclusive. Treatment plan watch and wait...
Regular 6 monthly checks ureteroscopys and now cystoscopies. Last one was in October and was absolutely clear. Have been upgraded to not be checked for 9 months.
Ok so issue now is I am due my period (I am 49 so they are very erratic). Friday night I noticed my urine was red and presumed period had started. However it still hasn't. I have just been to the toilet and no period but a streak of what I think is blood. Still no period so to speak.
I am having some pain but this is not unusual when period is due. However I am trying to convince myself it is my period acting up but of course I am a bit anxious.
Do I wait and see if period starts or if I see the blood again or do I call doctor tomorrow (I am thinking of it being Christmas and don't want to bother them unneccessarily)? Don't want to seem to be over reacting either.
