Hi everyone, the results are in.

It has not spread, phew.  The MDT are meeting tomorrow to decide what to do. I will meet with them soon to discuss whether I will need a neo bladder if it has gone into the muscle.

My surgeon said I was a very healthy person, had no probs under anaesthetic and to go with whatever the team suggests, which I will

It is not terminal. The thought of this at the beginning of this journey would have horrified me but now I AM SO GRATEFUL HeartpulseHeartpulse

  • Hi Inanna,That's brilliant news that it has not spread.Lots of love Jane XXX

  • Fabulous  news delighted for you

    the Wilberts xxxx

  • They should be able to tell you a Stage and Grade based on the biopsy results. Those are the most important factors in determining future treatment I think. Is there anyone who could phone you to give you feedback from tomorrow's MDT meeting? It feels tough on you to make you experience another wait. My Clinical Nurse Specialist is happy to call me after team meetings to save me waiting for appointments/ driving into hospital.

In the meanwhile.....congratulations. There are blessings from living through this experience, not the least the realisation that every day is worth cherishing. Sending love H x

  • I'm with H. on this. You should have been told stage and grade. These appointments never seem to be in the right order. It would have been better to see your consultant after the MDT, but hey ho, we learn to get used to these things. Positive that it is confined to the bladder. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • Hi Herothedog

I don't know what's the matter with me, I just let them get on with it. I don't mind the wait, I am just so grateful that it has not spread and it is not terminal.  I just let them do their thing but of course if I have to wait too long, I will be banging on doors.

My whole attitude to life is changing, you are right about that
