PS Hello again
I managed to get an appointment with my GP who advised me I probably had an infection following my cystoscopy. I submitted a urine sample and was told the surgery would contact me to determine which antibiotics would be appropriate. I was informed the results indicated there was no infection. My GP was not available to discuss my condition. I have to ring the surgery at 08.00 am tomorrow to see if I can get an appointment. My urine is still red and I am urinating blood clots every visit. I am drinking gallons of water as advised. I rang the Urology nurse but only got her answer phone. I am at a loss what to do next! Try to get to see my GP, wait to see my consultant for my planned appointment next Tuesday or go to my local A&E in the morning? Any thoughts fellow BC community? PS I am feeling well with no temperature or loss of appetite.
Garviv
Hi Garviv. The best people for advice are the urology nurses, so persist in calling. It is probably out of hours now, so maybe a call to the NHS 111 line for advice. They will advise on the best course of action. Keep us posted. Best wishes.
