Appointments

Hi k.man. Always good to have a firm date to look forward to. It takes away the anxiety of waiting an not knowing. Do you have a time ?. If in the morning, you may be out the same day. If afternoon, prepare for an overnight stay. Wishing you well with it. Best wishes.

Mine's arrived today k.man, think it took about a week.   They used to just put it in the post, but now they ring to if to see if the appointment's suitable. I imagine they say it's in the post, although they probably haven't even typed it out at that point …  I've had to call them as I have my pre-op at my local hospital & they've put me down for another hospital.  Hope your letter's arrived.

I expect Bank Hol delays sending out post a bit. Seems sensible to ring if a date is fairly soon, in case latter is slow arriving. I'd sometimes get called to go in the next day for a clinic appointment! On the other hand I'd often get last minute changes of date too...

My husband had his last pre-op at the usual hosp but the op at a nearby one, as they could get him in sooner which the team wanted, so it might not be a mistake though quite agree wise to check!
