Bladder cancer and sciatica

Hi . Sorry to hear your husband is in a lot of discomfort. We know that lower back pain is not uncommon with bladder cancer. Not sure about sciatica specifically , but I have done a quick search of old posts and we have had people in the bladder group in the past suffering with this. Whether there is a connection or just coincidence, it is hard to tell. Best wishes.

I had sciatica years ago Caz, & found that I get a lot more of it these days.  Although I'm not sure if it's an age thing or because of bladder cancer.  I've been googling, shouldn't really.  It says something about if a tumour's on a nerve, which makes sense.

Caz, has your husband had BCG? that can cause reactive arthritis, just wondering .....x

Hi, he starts his bcg on Monday.  The sciatica was diagnosed in April and the bladder cancer in May
