A week on from my second rigid cystoscopy where consultant removed a “ very small tumour” from the neck of my bladder. Despite drinking sufficient water each day still getting up 3/4 times per night and still tingling when I pee! Is this unusual?

Hi Garviv, glad to hear it was very small, that's always good news. I haven't really suffered too much after rigid cystoscopies myself but a week doesn't seem very long for a cut area to heal. I think they shave deeper than the actual tumour to check all is clear. Hope your symptoms ease very soon. I guess you'll get a break from cystoscopies for 3 months now so enjoy the freedom! xx
Hi Garvic. Just a week later to have these symptoms is not unusual. The location of the wound in the bladder neck would cause an extra bit of discomfort. If you are not already aware, you may shortly notice some clots or blood passing as the wound heals. If symptoms persist or get worse, then it is always wise to drop a sample off at your GP, to rule out any infection. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.
Thank You for your thoughts. Nice to hear other people’s perspectives
