Posted a couple weeks ago bout my husband having a turbt and not getting any answers after 6 weeks so went the gp to see if he could get answers for us was told his problems where due to lots of scarring but found out this morning from our gp that the tumor they removed shows traces of cancer and his case is being discussed at the weekly meeting the consultants have so hopefully we will find out the next stage and where we go from here
Hi . It's been a long wait, Unusual your husband has not had any consultation with his urologist, but at least now you know something positive is happening. The MDT will discuss your husband's case and then recommend the next steps. Treatment will depend on the biopsy results. We know there tends to be less urgency once the initial TURBT is done, but If you don't hear anything, then phone the urology secretary to chase things up. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.
